Yumeko giggled as she played her little mind game with her opponent. She always enjoyed making banter like this in game, it only added more confusion & fun. She looked at her hand, there was a pair of Nine’s. It wasn’t the best hand to have, but she decided to play it anyways.

❝ On the one hand, that does sound like it’d be the answer, but then there is the fact that the CHICKEN comes FROM the egg. The problem would be that if the EGG came at the same exact time as the CHICKEN did…then how did the CHICKEN come to be at all? Perhaps a next stage in evolution, that is a possibility, or even a regressed stage, but regardless, neither of us shall come to the true answer of such a question by continually ARGUING over such a topic. ❞

Golden hues merely watch her opponent calmly; she knows this tactic. It’s common mindgames that players ploy upon another as they face off in gambles. It could also result in one not thinking straight, making a move that leads them into a trap. Velvet has seen it all too many times; but SHE isn’t one to fall for such things herself. Play along as she might, her head is always in the game. 

A Three of a Kind sits in her hand, and she knows that could be a better hand…oh well, she’ll make do with what she has. After all, the possibility of worse was always there. Not to mention, she had plenty to spend on games, no reason to chicken out this early. Cold eyes narrow for a moment before all emotion vanishes from her features, laying the hand down for the other to see.
