It had been so long since she was patted, and the realisation came to her, she wasn’t a monster, she wasn’t a spawn come to ruin this world and hurt others. She was just rare, but the awful feeling did not budge from her heart.
“…J-Just because I needed to do it…d-doesn’t mean it was right…” the tears continued as the memory of her father rushed back, “…k-killing is wrong…i-it’s wrong,” she said, repeating it more like she was told as her hands gripped tighter. A memory of pain, her cheek swollen, her arms red, and burn marks on her feet.
It was wrong
it was wrong
i-…wa-…wro…
Man…this kid is going to be a handful, I can tell.
When she begins to cry once more, her claw comes down, constricted into a large fist as it clonks her on top of the head, trying to smack her out of it. It’s not enough to actually harm her, just enough to try and smack her back to her senses. Just so she would listen and not go into some sort of panic attack.
❝ Just because something is WRONG doesn’t mean it isn’t necessary. Think on it this way; humans and faunus kill ANIMALS on a daily basis to make our meals. Hamburgers, steaks, pork chops, all of these are made from killing animals that we raise, feed, care for, and one day slaughter for the preservation of our own lives. Are we wrong for doing that? No. We do it because we MUST LIVE ON at all costs. What about Grimm? They kill us on a daily basis, and we kill them. Are we in the wrong for killing them? No. We do it because we want to survive, and the same, truthfully, is said for them. But they do it as a lust that cannot be quenched, whereas humans and faunus do it for survival. There is a difference.
Regardless, yes, you killed a PET so the others consider that wrong. But you did it because you needed to survive. You were alone, and starved. However, if you come with me, I will make sure that doesn’t happen anymore. But I won’t take you for free, you will pull your own weight, like I said.
Do you agree with my terms? ❞
Explaining everything clearly as she can, she lays it all out for the other to hopefully understand. She doesn’t expect her to accept, or to answer right off, just wants her to get it through her head that she ISN’T as wrong as she thinks she is.
